The purpose of this organization, in cooperation with Temple Beth-El Congregation and Board of Trustees, is to foster and support the highest ideals of Judaism through religious, social and educational activities.

The Sisterhood conducts many fundraisers throughout the year. The proceeds are donated to Temple Beth-El’s religious school, Temple and Sisterhood sponsored programs and to Temple Beth-El’s operating fund. The goal is always to have fun!    

Some of its activities include: coordinating Onegs, producing the Temple directory, running the Judaica shop, and communication with the community through Telephone/Email Tree. Of course, anything to do with food, the Sisterhood is willing to lend a hand and create a committee to feed the hungry. For example, we host the wonderful Rosh Hashanah Oneg and Yom Kippur Break Fast. All of the committees are listed in the Temple directory along with the committee chair. If you would like to help out in anyway, give these wonderful people a call.
